Cheap, Effective Way To Get Rid Of Or Prevent Bed Bugs

As soon as you realize the terrible reality; you have bed bugs, your first question is most likely; how will I get rid of them?

That was my first question. When I first found out I had beds bugs I was devastated. I was living in an apartment with my roommate and we both went on a hunt for the little critters after I noticed I had three bites in a row on my leg that looked very similar to a bed bug bite. We ended up finding over ten bed bugs and about 3 eggs in my mattress seams, along with the blood smears and fecal stains. It was confirmed. After a brief meltdown I began doing some research.

The average cost for an exterminator was at least $250. Along with that hefty price, they spray harsh chemicals and make you leave your apartment for at least six hours. There had to be another way to get rid of these bed bugs. I went to our local Walmart and purchased some insect and bug spray that was supposed to kill bed bugs. The spray ran at about $45 dollars. It was a pretty hefty price but, still cheaper than the exterminators. I used it as directed for a week and absolutely no results. I knew this because I continued to get the bites and I still spotted bed bugs in my mattress seams.

It seemed like the exterminators were the only option, that was, until the next Saturday at work I started talking to a co-worker about my stressful issue I was having with bed bugs. She told me about “All Stop Dead Bed Bugs Contact Killing Spray” that she ordered online. She swore by this spray and she kept talking about how it actually smelt good, like mint, and how it was non-toxic and that it actually worked for her. One of the things that convinced me to try it out was that she said she was infested with bed bugs. She explained that they were at one point in her child’s books. According to her this spray got rid of all of them.

So of course, me being the economical guy I am, I asked for the name and I ordered the spray off Amazon. I really had nothing to lose. I got the spray in about six days. As soon as I got it, me and my roommate sprayed my bed and furniture everywhere! (This spray is safe to use on your bed because it is non-toxic). Along with spraying my bed and furniture, I vacuumed all carpet, bagged all my clothes and blankets and washed and dried everything and put them in new bags. I went to bed that night and woke up the next morning…..no new bites. I couldn’t believe it!

For the next week I monitored my body for bed bug bites in the most paranoid manner and I found nothing. It felt like a million pounds had been lifted off my shoulders. The bed bugs were finally gone. I could finally get a good night sleep and I wasn’t a ball of nerves anymore. My story goes to show you that with the right knowledge and tools you can get rid of bed bugs for a cheap price.

I ended up only paying $25 dollars for the spray I used. That was well worth it for me. I hope this article can help you to get rid of your bed bug problem once and for all.

Thank you so much, I hope this works. I told my mom that we had bed bugs but she didn’t believe me until my sister said she saw one. But, my mom didn’t want to get the house exterminated because we just got it exterminated from termites and she was still paying it off. I’m allergic to bed bug bites so this was really a sticky situation for me. I really am going to try this.
