Traumatically insemination is when the male bed bug pierces the female bed bug’s abdomen. The male bed bug then releases his sperm into the female bed bug. The sperm then spread out into the hemolymph. After this happens the sperm is then carried to the female bed bug’s ovaries and fertilization takes place.
